You can download a movie or series on Netlix and open it within the app on your device when there is no internet. A short guide on how to do this – see below.

Watching Netflix movies and series offline

To watch a Netflix series or movie without an internet connection, you need to download the content to your computer or phone. We recommend doing this while there is still a network, so that after downloading the content can be viewed anywhere without an Internet connection.

To download content from Netflix, you must have the latest version of the Netflix app on one of the following devices:

• iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch with iOS version 9.0 or later;
• Android smartphones or tablets with OS 4.4.2 and newer, Amazon Fire from version 4.0;
• Windows 10 and 11 computers and tablets;
• Chromebook and Chromebox PCs.

To download a movie or series, you need to open the Netflix app. Next, look for a “Download” button next to the content. In the “Menu” you can filter the movies or TV shows to download. After all, not all tapes can be recorded. For serials, there will be a “Download” button after each episode. Season Download is available for Android users.

What will be streaming on Netflix from November 16?

• “Miracle”, 16 November. Starring Florence Pugh, this movie is the story of a young Irish superstar who hasn’t eaten since her eleventh birthday.
• “1899”, Season 1, November 17. The long-awaited new series from the creators of the German series Dark. It’s about the passengers on a migrant ship being caught by surprise.
• “Elite”, season 6, November 18. The sequel to the Spanish teen drama.
• “Marevokray”, 18 November. Jason Momoa stars in this new fantasy family movie about a young girl who discovers a hidden map to a magical dream world.
• “Wednesday”, season 1, November 23. The new series chronicles the prequel to “The Addams Family,” written by director and producer Tim Burton.
