According to Ukrinform, this was announced in a Telegram by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
“Spotify is no longer available on the App Store and Google Play for users from Russia. The service was officially launched in Russia on July 15, 2020,” Fedorov wrote.
As reported, in late March, the Spotify service decided to leave the Russian market. Spotify is an online streaming audio service (streaming service) that lets you listen to music legally and for free.
From the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, international allies and partners have imposed tough sanctions on the Russian economy as well as export restrictions.
Many companies announced the end of business in Russia and their withdrawal from joint projects.
