On November 19-20, energy companies, together with mobile operators, restored 3,300 base stations damaged by Russian aggression in all regions of Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, this was announced on Telegram by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

“We have commissioned 3,300 more base stations across the country over the weekend. These are hundreds of thousands of subscribers who finally have mobile communication and internet,” he said.

Fedorov noted that the restoration of communications continues 24/7 in almost every region of the country.

He added that half of the Odessa region’s mobile network was down for several days due to the bombing of its energy infrastructure. Currently 80% of the network is working.

As reported, on November 15 the Russians launched another major attack on energy facilities; on the eve of the liberation of the long-occupied Kherson by the Ukrainian army.

The attack on the energy system was the largest since the beginning of Russian aggression. There were shocks in both the production facilities and the electrical transmission system.
