Japanese company NTT Sonority has developed headphones that allow users to hear what is going on around them while the environment cannot hear sounds coming from the device.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by NHK.
Headphones use carefully designed speakers that produce sound without blocking the ear canal. The company states that in this way, users can be aware of what is happening around them and even join a conversation. At the same time, the earphones generate acoustic waves that prevent sound from “leaking out”, thereby causing disturbance to the environment.
It has been noted that Sony has also released wireless droplet headphones with a hole that allows the owner to hear what is happening around. These devices are also equipped with microphones that can detect when the user is speaking and facilitate their conversation.
As reported by Ukrinform, the German company Adidas introduced the wireless headset RPT-02 SOL, which uses a light source for charging.
