Chinese company Dobot has introduced two robots to perform small tasks, including making coffee, cocktails, ice cream, noodles, fried chicken and more.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by Kiosk Marketplace.
Nova 2 and Nova 5 devices are the first two models of the Nova series that can lift loads up to 2 kg and 5 kg, respectively.
They also have the ability to replace workers to help companies cut operational costs and reduce direct human contact.
The Nova series contrasts with the strict design philosophy of industrial robots to better meet the needs of the retail industry and offers color customization to better suit retail stores for the benefit of customers.
The Nova series is also more compact than similar industrial robots and can fit within one square metre.
No coding knowledge is required to program the Nova robot and the robots only take 10 minutes to set up.
The Nova series has safety features that detect human movement and stop working 0.01 seconds after human contact is detected. In the event of a power outage, the Nova automatically stays in place.
As reported by Ukrinform, the American company Amazon introduced the robot Sparrow, which uses artificial intelligence to perform daily tasks in its warehouses.
