LG and MSI They are already warming up the engines CES 2023 which will take place early next year in Las Vegas, USA. In addition to this, and certainly among other things, they started to show two models of OLED monitors, one for each company, with which they intend to strengthen or win in a highly competitive field such as e.g. playing games.

As for the LG monitor model, it is this one UltraGear OLED Curved WQHD Gaming Monitor. The screen size is 45 inches, supports a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. Its curvature is 800R.

Other features of the LG UltraGear OLED WQHD Curved Gaming Monitor are its the viewing angle is 178 degrees and as a connection it includes two HDMI, DisplayPort, support for 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, a GTG response time of 0.03 ms, an approximate weight of 8.6 kilograms, plus support for AMD FreeSync and G-SYNC. Priced at €1,999.99, bookings are expected to open on December 12, 2022, and shipments would start from December 28, 2022.

It is a screen with a 49-inch QD-OLED panel that operates at a frequency of 240 Hz. There are no further details about the peripheral yet, but MSI itself has already said via its official Twitter account that there will be more at CES 2023.

Looking at the spend profile of each of the monitors, it’s clear that they won’t be cheap, which can be verified with LG’s UltraGear OLED WQHD Curved Gaming Monitor. As for Project 491C, we’ll see what happens in the end, but knowing that MSI is moving forward, it most likely won’t disappoint.
