Amy Seidenwurm, virtual reality executive producer at Meta, said the company is constantly spending time in the meta universe at work to develop this aspect of it. She reported this in an interview with Business Insider, she said.
According to Seidenwurm, he creates virtual stories about human rights and social justice within the metaverse. “This technology is very, very useful for empathizing and putting yourself in someone else’s shoes”– a confident employee.
Seidenwurm spends about three to four hours of each workday in a VR helmet. He reviews the designs over and over until every detail looks and sounds just the way he wanted.
According to Seidenwurm, the main problem with being in the metaverse is not being able to communicate with anyone in real time. “It’s terrible that you have to answer to your colleagues”he explained.
The producer concluded that keeping his presence actually helped him beekeeping on the lawn of the house and solving puzzles.
