Xiaomi recently announced the MIUI 14 Early Access Program in China. The program starts today (November 28) and ends on December 28, 2022 at 23:59. During this time, users of the Xiaomi community will be able to sign up and try the new software. However, users can only enroll one Xiaomi device, whether it’s a tablet or a smartphone. Also, the device cannot be changed after successful registration.

The Early Access build will likely be phased out to different devices and may take some time to reach every registered user. It is important to note that the program is currently limited to users residing in mainland China. It may soon spread to other regions.

If we talk about the software itself, MIUI 14 is advertised as lightweight. The Xiaomi executive said that the company wants to make MIUI 14 the most optimized and lightweight flagship mobile operating system. We can expect the software to get a visual overhaul and a new design language. It will be interesting to see how lightweight the new software is.
