OUR Apple The list of winners of the contest has been published App Store AwardWith 2022, awards for the top games and apps of the year for their platforms. The winners were selected based on inspiration, imagination and communication with users.

There are 16 categories in total, which are divided between apps, games, and a special social impact category. The best app for iPhone in 2022 was Be realBye Apex Legends for mobile among iPhone games.

Tim Cook praises apps and their creators

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, commented on the quality of the awardees: “The winners of this year’s App Store Awards have reinvented our apps, offering a fresh, thoughtful and authentic perspective.”

The Executive Director added, speaking of the variety of creations: “From solo self-taught individuals to international teams around the world, these entrepreneurs are making a significant impact and representing how apps and games impact our communities and lives.”
