After updating their flagship top smartphones to android 13a Samsung is now releasing an update from OneUI 5.0 for the cheapest smartphones. The models receiving the update now are the models Galaxy M53 as well as M33who also receive a new operating system security patch.

The new system is coming M53 with firmware M536BXXU1BVK4 and for M33 as M336BXXU3BVK3 a first for European variants of these models. This is the first major update for two smartphones released this year since android 12 and should receive two more major updates in the coming years.
