Spotify has been removed from the App Store in Russia

Spotify announced the suspension of its operations in the Russian Federation in March.

Now the music streaming service app has disappeared from the Russian App Store. Russian owners of smartphones running the iOS operating system and tablets running iPadOS will not be able to listen to music through Spotify.

The chronology of events is as follows:

Spotify removes all content from Russia Today and Sputnik government channels in the European Union, United States and other markets.
Then Spotify announces the closure of its office forever (although Spotify is one of the few foreign services that meet the requirements of Russian law on “landing”) in a timely manner.
Only after that the information is corrected. The new version is only about stopping activities.
Russian users are not allowed to renew their premium subscription.
Spotify will be removed from the App Store on April 18.
