Samsung started promoting SSDs with the hashtag #RuggedDurability. The external device looks like a protected version of the T7 solid state drive. It has a solid body, USB Type-C port and LED status indicator. The device can come in different versions with storage capacity.
It is stated that the SSD Samsung T7 and T7 Touch, which were released in the first half of 2020, are quite powerful. They have a reliable aluminum body, they are durable when dropped from a height of up to 2 meters. However, future SSD may become even more durable: MIL-STD 810G is expected to support military protection standards and even resistance to extreme temperatures.
