How to boot your iPhone if it’s stuck on the Apple logo

First, if your iPhone is frozen on the Apple logo for several minutes without any progress, you should try to force restart the phone. Here’s how to fix it:

– iPhone with Face ID (from iPhone 10), iPhone 8 and iPhone SE: You need to press and release the volume up button. Then press and release the volume down button. Quickly, you need to press the lock button before restarting your iPhone.

– iPhone 7/7 Plus: Press and hold the lock button along with the volume down button.
