The experience of Ukrainian IT specialists and developers can be used in future US military operations.
According to the news of Ukrinform, this was expressed by Victoria Nuland, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs, who visited Kiev, during a meeting with Oleg Hayduk, Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization. The parties discussed current and future cooperation in the field of defense.
Deputy Minister of Defense and officials of the Center for Defense Technologies Innovation and Development demonstrated the Ukrainian military situational awareness system “Delta” – the main features and products of the system, cyber protection of the platform, plans for the integration of new information and cooperation with allies.
Victoria Nuland greatly appreciated Delta’s capabilities, flexibility and compatibility with similar platforms from NATO member countries. The US Deputy Secretary of State supported the initiatives of the Ukrainian side to expand the capabilities of the IT system, which helps to obtain a complete operational picture of the battlefield and enemy forces.
“The experience of the team that developed the situational awareness platform can be used in future US military operations. Allied countries can learn from the lessons of the war in Ukraine. I welcome your work with great interest and appreciation. After the defeat. the enemy, Ukrainian IT specialists can even train the NATO army.” Nuland commented.
The US Deputy Secretary of State also presented the first results of the implementation of the LOGFAS logistics program, which allows to monitor the supply of weapons from partner countries to Ukraine and control the movement of the MTD.
“The implementation of LOGFAS removes any concerns, as it is an accounting and planning standard in force in Alliance countries. Maintaining the trust of partners is a priority for us,” summarized Deputy Defense Minister Hajduk.
Victoria Nuland expressed her solidarity with the Ukrainian people and her admiration for the defenders of Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Armed Forces of Ukraine intensively interacts with international partners in the areas of software, logistics and automatic control systems, which affect the outcome of hostilities at least as much as the MLRS. NATO LOGFAS program is implemented to improve the logistics of the Armed Forces.
