“I systematized the results of our team’s trip to the USA,” wrote Fedorov.
According to him, the Ministry of Digitization in particular has agreed on $75 million in aid with services from Amazon AWS.
“This is a strong support for Ukraine’s cyber resilience. Resources will help to continue storing copies of data in the cloud, transferring active infrastructure to the cloud. This is infrastructure that is not subject to missile attacks,” Fedorov said.
There was also a productive meeting with USAID director Samantha Paver where they discussed a new digitalization support project. Fedorov noted that support could be one of the foundations for developing a recording platform “Dia”, given that the Digital Ministry’s budget has been reduced by 86% next year (and this year). digitization of services.
Added two projects with VISA. The company has already supported many initiatives of the Ministry of Digital (Action.Business, Action.Digital Education, Diia Summit, eSupport), but according to Fedorov, new projects will be an important stage in the development of innovative public financial services. The Ministry of Digital Education received $2 million and 50,000 free Google Workspace licenses from Google for the development of digital education.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed with Recorded Future, the world’s largest intelligence company. Ukraine will receive assistance from the company’s analysts and engineers to work towards additional protection of critical infrastructure.
