Report published NordPass revealed the most popular passwords of people around the world. A study in more than 30 countries warns people who are still using weak passwords to secure their accounts. The survey, conducted in partnership with independent researchers specializing in cybersecurity incident research, listed The 200 most common passwords from every country and world🇧🇷 The tables presented were sorted based on how many times the same password was used by users, including the number of times it was present in the database and the time it took to decrypt with the attack.
Unlike Brazil, despite being ranked, the password “123456” is not the most used password in the world. The first place in the world was taken by another combination: “password” (“password” in Portuguese).
ESET, a leading company in the field of proactive threat detection, warned that the data gives an indication of the current level of maturity of users in a very important aspect of information security: many people continue to choose weak, predictable and easy to guess passwords to protect their email accounts, social networks or other online services.
