It was noted that the launch of the “Gaofen-5 01A” (Gaofen-5 01A) satellite was carried out with the help of the “Changzheng-2G” (Long March-2D) carrier rocket. The spacecraft successfully reached the given orbit.
“Gaofen-5 01A” is a hyperspectral satellite to be used for remote sensing and applications in various fields such as pollutant emissions reduction, environmental quality monitoring, natural resource inventory, climate change research and more.
This flight was the 453rd flight of the Changzheng series launch vehicles.
As Ukrinform reports, a Chinese experimental satellite was successfully launched Wednesday from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome (Northwest China).
