Robotics is one of the most promising areas in the industry. At the current stage of work, humanoid robots cannot yet compete with humans in versatility, but they can cope with certain tasks (and with certain training) much worse. For example, Xiaomi tested its humanoid robot CyberOne as a drummer.
Compared to an ordinary person, such a drummer looks strange and even clumsy, but he copes with his task. In China, however, the video was ridiculed: In the video’s comments, users say CyberOne “can shoot but has no soul” and is “too tight”. It is good that the robot does not read social networks and does not feel insulted.
Let’s remind you that Xiaomi introduced CyberOne in August of this year. The robot is 177 cm tall and weighs 52 kg. The robot is a research project, not a commercial product. And of course the role of the drummer is also part of this project.
