we already have return requests, one of the top-rated PS5 exclusives of last year. Acclaimed by users and critics alike, this title won the BAFTA Video Games Award for Best Game of the Year. It will be released on PC in early 2023probably in January of that year and it looks like it’s going to be quite challenging, although before I look at the requirements I want to discuss a few things with you.
First, it is important to note that the return requests are too high in both their minimum and recommended levels, This would have two possible explanations. The first is that these requirements are inflated, which seems most likely to me, and the second is that the game is poorly optimized in its adaptation to compatibles, which I dare not completely rule out.
We have a slight error in the CPU equivalence as the Ryzen 5 1500X has 4 cores and 8 threads and the Core i5-6400 has 4 cores and 4 threads. Its closest equivalent would be a Ryzen 3 1300X. For the rest, we see that the requirements are very high, although this is understandable, since it is a game that was developed based on the PS5.
In this case, we have another equivalence error at the CPU level, since the Ryzen 7 2700X has 8 cores and 16 threads, and the Core i7-8700K has 6 cores and 12 threads. The correct equivalence would be Ryzen 5 3600 which has 6 cores and 12 threads.
The GPU equivalence may be fine as it most likely refers to setting to enable ray tracingand in this scenario the GeForce RTX 2070 Super is more or less on par with the Radeon RX 6700 XT.
It is clear that the recommended requirements are quite inflated, namely asking for 32GB of RAM is absurd, especially considering that the PS5 only has 16 GB of unified memory, of which 2 to 3 GB would be reserved for the operating system and applications.
