Yesterday, December 11, Xiaomi company officially presented the new version of the firmware – MIUI 14. Initially, the presentation was supposed to take place on December 1, but due to the death of the former PRC president, all events were postponed by the country. Now it’s clear why the company is holding the event on such an unusual day (Sunday) – the start of beta testing was scheduled for Monday, December 12.
Chinese media reports that owners of 29 Xiaomi and Redmi devices can already try MIUI 14 (the update is not yet available for POCO owners to test). This is significant because only 11 models were reported in the official list of the first test wave.
