MIUI 14 was officially released yesterday at the launch of the Xiaomi 13 series. During the announcement, Xiaomi revealed all the new features of its latest software. It also revealed which smartphones will receive the new software update first. However, the company has not announced the availability of MIUI 14 for tablets. This was later revealed through the Xiaomi community after the event.

Last year, when Xiaomi introduced MIUI 13, the company’s presentation included a feature showcase for various software areas such as MIUI 13 Pad and MIUI 13 Fold. However, this did not happen during the announcement of MIUI 14. Because Xiaomi continues to work on tablet and foldable versions of MIUI 14. The company posted this information on its official forum.

That’s why weekly beta versions of MIUI 14 for tablets and complex devices will be released later. The first batch of eligible smartphones has started getting them. Interestingly, despite the start of the public beta testing program, Xiaomi has already released the calendar for the stable version of MIUI 14. The following tablets will receive the update from early April 2023.

Currently, the only devices running MIUI 14 stably are Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. During the event, it was revealed that older phones will receive the update from February 2023. However, a message from the Xiaomi community says rollout will begin around January 2023.
