We are constantly looking for innovative solutions that will help gain an advantage on the battlefield and accelerate Ukraine’s victory. We independently develop the military technology aspect and involve global companies in cooperation. And we have already received the results of the new agreements.

$75 million support from Amazon Web Services. These are cloud technologies, security of government data and uninterrupted government services for Ukrainians.

Amazon Web Services has helped keep the nation’s digital infrastructure afloat since the early days of the wide-ranging war. The company has served for the keeping of nearly 100 state registers. This made it possible to save all data and ensure uninterrupted operation of the state even during bombings or power outages.

At a meeting held in the USA this year, the Department of Digital Affairs team signed a memorandum with Amazon Web Services for 2023. This will help continue to work with the company’s cloud technologies and save data from records. All this makes the digital landscape more stable and vulnerable to possible hostile cyber attacks. As a result, the government works, Ukrainians receive state services.

Collaboration with USAID. More anti-corruption services that save government budgets and develop a democratic society

Fighting corruption has been our top priority since the first days of the Ministry of Digital Affairs. We are building a state where the state works openly and transparently. Where even minimal internal corruption is automatically eliminated, as all services can be obtained online without interaction with an authority.

We have already done a significant part of the work in this direction together with partners and donors. For example, together with USAID, they carried out a revolutionary reform in the construction industry, which is considered one of the most corrupt industries. Digitizing the globe allowed the state to save 3 billion hryvnia per year.

In the meeting with Samantha Power, head of the USAID agency, they discussed future cooperation in the implementation of anti-corruption services and the development of Action. We have implemented 80% of the services in Diya with the support of USAID. Among the most recent significant results is the Damaged Property Register. Ukrainians can apply to Diya, the data is sent to the registry. It will then store data for Ukraine’s rapid post-war recovery.

$2 million from Google for digital education in Ukraine. Ukrainians will be able to acquire digital skills and master new professions.

Last week, Google.org joined the partners of the Action.Digital Education platform. Within 2 years, the company will invest $2 million in the development of digital education in Ukraine.

Action Digital education is a revolutionary project that allows you to acquire digital skills for free. That is, a person can watch training sequences from a smartphone, learn new skills and then find a new job. We plan to shoot about 100 new educational series with the grant we received from Google.org. In particular, from the retraining program. Add English content, start an educational app, use interactive simulators.

In addition, we integrate artificial intelligence into the learning process, so that content is automatically selected on the platform, taking into account the skills and wishes of Ukrainians. An experience like no other in the world.

Thanks to digital skills, Ukrainians will be able to master new professions. As a result, the unemployment rate among IDPs will fall faster in Ukraine.

Using the technologies of the Russian invaders Clearview AI facial recognition system. More innovative solutions – a faster victory for Ukraine.

During the full-scale war, the world saw a technological and digital Ukraine. A country at war with one of the largest armies. But we have an important advantage because we have technological solutions. One of them is the Clearview AI recognition system.

Artificial intelligence makes it possible to detect Russian war criminals and strengthen the security of checkpoints.

Collaboration with the largest intelligence company Recorded Future. The Ukrainian military is learning more about the enemy and changing military strategies.

Since the early days of a full-scale invasion, we’ve been looking for technology solutions that will enable our military to gain an advantage on the battlefield. In this direction, we received strong support from the Recorded Future company.

Ukraine is an intelligence platform and will have the support of experts who will advise the Ministry of Digitization team. Together we will strengthen cyber defense and work on revolutionary developments that can be implemented in Ukraine. And after the victory we will be able to export our experience all over the world.

We are now accumulating resources within the country. We attract the best companies to support Ukraine, we are looking for technological solutions and innovative products that bring our victory closer. The state is doing everything possible to implement technologies on the battlefield as soon as possible. To do this, the Government has passed a resolution that allows UAV manufacturers to more easily obtain permission for experimental operation so that in the future the Ministry of Defense can purchase unmanned aerial vehicles. We have proposed other changes to help combat bureaucracy.

We are working on the development of military technology together with experts from all over the world. In parallel, we present our own developments, showing Ukraine to the whole world as a digital state with incredible human potential.
