“At the initiative of the State Special Communications Service and with the help of the Ministry of Justice, a decision was made that allows all citizens of Ukraine, all institutions and organizations of all types to use Starlink terminals during martial law,” Shchigol said. I said.

He also noted that “as some have pointed out” there was no previous ban on Starlink use. There were regulatory restrictions on their use.

“Currently, these bans have been lifted,” said the head of the State Special Communications Service.

As previously reported, only critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine can use the terminals to access the NetworkX domain. The government is carrying out appropriate work to regulate the use of Starlink satellite terminals by all arrivals.

Earlier, SpaceX founder Elon Musk had accepted a request from the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and satellite internet access.
