The PC version of the browser received a number of innovations that were previously only available on mobile devices. All of them are related to Google Lens technology and are designed to make image search more convenient for users of the popular application.
In the updated version of Chrome, the Google Lens interface has got three new buttons: “Search”, “Text” and “Translate”. The former can be used to select a portion of an image to refine the query results. The second will allow you to copy, listen or search for the selected text on the network, and the third, as its name implies, will translate the desired piece of text.
In addition, a button to quickly find the source of an image appeared at the top of the Google Lens window. All innovations are already available in some regions using the browser version for Chrome OS, macOS and Windows. Check for app updates in the main menu by selecting Help – About Google Chrome browser.
