Apple, which released the Apple TV application for Android TVs last year, is now preparing to bring the application to Android phones. The company is said to be testing the Android app internally and may soon be available to Android users.
While Apple hasn’t made an official announcement, insider trust ShrimpApplePro claims the Apple TV app for Android phones is currently in beta testing. Additionally, they are reporting that Apple is working on an update to the Apple Music app for Android, but we don’t have any information about the changes to the music streaming app.

Oh, the Apple Music app for Android is also being updated.— ShrimpApplePro 🍤 (@VNchocoTaco) 20 December 2022
The official Apple TV app for Android phones will make it much easier for users to access Apple TV+ content on their smartphones. Currently, users need to access the service on their Android devices via web browsers such as Chrome and Firefox. While this workaround is great for quickly watching an episode of your favorite TV show, it’s not perfect. This is because the web version does not allow users to download shows to watch offline and does not sync settings with the Apple TV app on other devices.
If you don’t mind these restrictions, you can access Apple TV from your Android phone by going to the Apple TV website in Chrome or Firefox and signing in with your Apple ID. Note that you will need to purchase a subscription that will cost you $6.99 per month. Fortunately, Apple offers a free 7-day trial to help you evaluate the content available on the service before you leave your hard-earned money.
