The Ministry of Digital Transformation is launching a new section on the Diya portal for Ukrainians’ interaction with the state – “Action. Unhindered”, which will become a source of information on vital issues for Ukrainians.

According to Ukrinform, this was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the presentation of the new section.

Systematization of services and information within the framework of the “Barrier-Free” project will help Ukrainians who need equality and comfort. This is a separate section of the Diya portal for Ukrainians, which includes five basic categories. These include: internally displaced persons, persons with disabilities, parents, the elderly and job seekers.

Fedorov explained that during a large-scale war, people often encounter stress and find themselves in situations they were not in before. Therefore, the interaction of Ukrainians with the state should be as simple and understandable as possible. The new section will be an information resource where all important services, instructions and important materials will be collected.

“We are just starting this section and we will do everything so that as many people as possible learn about it. This will help save time and make life easier, especially for Ukrainians. We will improve this tool, launch new services and also share expert experiences on how to simplify things, ‘ summed up the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

The project was created in collaboration with its key audiences: the elderly, young parents, people with disabilities, “Accessible” through the initiative “Accessible” together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation with the support of First Lady Olena Zelenska’s UN Development Program in Ukraine and Sweden. Analytical support was provided by the public organization “Bezbariernost”.

As reported, since December 13, two new services have been launched in Diya app for IDPs, which can be obtained without the intervention of an official. The first is a change of residence if you have moved to another city in Ukraine. The second is the revocation of IDP status if you have returned to your permanent place of residence.
