A new leak has left us with more information about the GeForce RTX 40 Mobile, a new generation of notebook graphics cards that NVIDIA will launch in January next year and which will be presented at CES in 2023. We already knew some things, such as its graphics configuration memory, and today we can share with you new details focused on his operating frequency and consumption.
NVIDIA is set to release at least five different graphics cards under the GeForce RTX 40 Mobile lineup, spanning mid-range, premium mid-range, and high-end. Keep in mind that the names we’ll see next haven’t been confirmed yet, so there may be variations on them. On the other hand, it is also likely that NVIDIA reserve “Ti” models for intergenerational renovation in late 2023 or early 2024.
Keep in mind that we are talking about maximum TGP values, that is, along with these versions for light devices will coexist, which will have lower consumption and thus lower frequencies, which we already know from previous generations of NVIDIA.
The low-power design offers an interesting value between power, heat and size and allows you to create gaming equipment weighs less than two kilograms. However, we have to take into account that these versions do not offer the same performance as the ones with higher consumption and that the differences can be quite large.
All this will be repeated with the GeForce RTX 40 Mobile and it is normal because is due to limitations given by available space, power and cooling system on laptops. In any case, there is nothing to worry about, because the results that NVIDIA has achieved with its latest generations have been good, and the ASUS TUF Dash F15 is a great example of this.
