So while there are those who can use Vivaldi Calendar as a local app, it will most likely serve as an external calendar manager, and not all services allow it to be integrated into third-party apps with address compatibility. How to import iCalendar and ICS calendars into Vivaldi

In the calendar settings in Vivaldi, you can easily add local calendars or online calendars from Vivaldi.net, from Google or in standard CalDAV and web formats, which in principle should cover the needs of many users. However, there is no sign of import of calendars in iCalendar (from Apple iCal, although it is well distributed) and ICS formats.

Fortunately, this option not only exists, but is well implemented, even though it’s not where one might expect, which is in the calendar settings section above. On the contrary, you have to open the general menu of the application, the so-called Vivaldi and go to “File > Import from apps or files«. This would be the method you would use to manually import data from other browsers.

Instead, open the drop-down list and look at the last two options: “Calendar Events (ICS File)” and “Calendar Events from Remote Server (iCal)”; and of course you choose the one that fits. Then it’s just one more step to upload a file or paste a URL, assign to an existing calendar or create a new one, and you’re done.

Without a doubt, an option that could be much more visible than it is.
