Tech Crunch, users of a paid Twitter Blue subscription can now post 60-minute videos on the social network.
It has been noted that Twitter Blue subscribers can now download hours of videos in Full HD resolution up to 2 GB. Before that, users were limited to 10-minute videos with Full HD resolution that did not exceed 512MB in size.
It is stated that Twitter could face piracy by allowing longer videos to be streamed – users could start streaming excerpts from movies or episodes of their favorite shows.
Along with longer videos, Twitter Blue subscribers also get reply priority, and their posts now appear above free users’ replies.
Twitter Blue is a paid subscription that was restarted when Elon Musk joined the company. It costs $8, but is priced at $11 for iOS users to offset their App Store fees.
