The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope photographed the strange spiral galaxy ESO 415-19 in the constellation of January.
This was reported by the observatory, Ukrinform reports.
The space object is located about 450 million light-years from our planet.
While the center of ESO 415-19 resembles a regular spiral galaxy, long streams of stars extend from the galactic core, like oddly elongated spiral arms.
They say it’s these fluxes caused by some random interactions in the galaxy’s past that give ESO 415-19 its strange appearance.
The so-called Hubble Ultra Deep Field and the Hearth Galaxy Cluster are located in the constellation Pich.
As reported by Ukrinform, the NASA/ESA Hubble space telescope photographed part of emission nebula IC 1848 (Soul Nebula) in the constellation Cassiopeia.
