“The law provides for the creation and operation of the Unified Accounting Information System of the National Informatics Program (EISONPI). “
The document expands the direction of the program to solve a number of basic tasks. In particular, the development of the information society, the use of information and digital technologies in public administration and socio-economic relations, overcoming digital inequality.
It also contributes to the security of information activity and cyber protection through the construction, development, integration and use of modern information systems, communication networks, information resources and information technologies.
The law promotes Ukraine’s integration into the global information space.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law in its entirety by a majority on 1 December.
