Pixel 7 owners have started to complain on social networks that the glass that protects the camera lenses on their smartphones is cracked for no reason. This was reported by the “PhoneArena” post.

At the time of publication, journalists counted about 10 cases of the problem. In each of them, users said that they did not drop or crash the smartphone. As a rule, the glass either completely crumbled in the pocket or cracked badly and gradually crumbled during use.

In response, one of the Reddit users wrote that he complained about the problem to Google support after the service center offered him to replace the entire backplane for $200. In response, the IT giant has promised to replace the smartphone.

PhoneArena noted that complaints started popping up again in November. Based on the experience of the owners of the defective copy, the journalists recommended that if a problem is detected, take a photo of the defect as soon as possible and send a complaint to Google with the images. In this case, there is a possibility that the IT giant will offer to replace the broken device with a new one.
