Rumors about an iPad with a new form factor have been circulating for a long time. The latest insider reports suggest that Apple will launch it in 2025, replacing the iPad Mini in the market. However, it turned out that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo did not agree with this information.

According to Kuo, Apple is actually working on an iPad with a foldable screen and will likely launch in 2025. However, Kuo is confident that the American company will not withdraw from the sale of the iPad Mini because of the innovation. The fact is that a folding iPad will be a very expensive device and in a completely different price category than the iPad Mini.

91mobiles added that Kuo’s thesis was indirectly confirmed by rumors of Apple’s partnership with Samsung and LG in the production of complex 20.25-inch diagonal OLED panels. Journalists believe that the huge screen is most likely designed for a complex iPad, which, given the parameters of the screen, will most likely compete not with other Apple tablets, but with the MacBook.
