M: YES is already warming up for CES 2023, so the hardware giant has set its sights on playing games It is already preparing various products that will be launched in the course of the next year. Among them are the Raider GE78HX 13VI and Titan GT77 notebooks, both aimed at performing very heavy tasks.

We start with MSI GE78HX 13VI, which was spotted on the Geekbench 5 database to show off all its internals. This equipment will include a processor Intel Core i9-13980HX, which is aimed at laptops and scored 2,097 single-core and 22,062 multi-core. These numbers show that it has 4% less performance than the desktop Ryzen 7950X, although it is also true that the Core i9-13980HX is based on the same silicon used for desktops, but slightly modified for laptops.

If we dive into the characteristics of the Intel Core i9-13980HX, it has a total of 24 cores that add up to 32 threads. The base frequency it works with is 2.2 GHz, while it was able to reach a maximum of 5,386 MHz installed inside the MSI GE78HX 13VI notebook. For dedicated graphics, it will almost certainly be NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4000 series, most likely the top model.

On the other hand, MSI Titan GT77which according to the manufacturer is The first notebook in the world with a mini LED display running in native 4K resolution and a frequency of 144 MHz. This team aims to have the main value in the screen, which is powered by AUO’s AmLED Mini LED technology and promises super bright feedback, decent HDR performance and wide color gamut support.

The MSI Titan GT77 display is expected to have a Peak brightness of 1,000 nits, which is 2.5 times more than a regular LCD screen, and should also offer a sharper image with less halo thanks to its 1008 dimming zones. High peak brightness and AmLED adaptive control technology adjust the image accurately and dynamically in real time, and also provide decent HDR performance.

Titan GT77 is certified for VESA DisplayHDR 1000 and supports 100% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. Thanks to MSI’s exclusive True Color technology, each Mini LED panel in the Titan GT77 will be strictly inspected before assembly, and accurate color reproduction is promised. Obviously, all of this graphics display will be accompanied by next-generation NVIDIA GeForce graphics.

The Titan GT77 has confirmed its launch at CES 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, while we have no record of the GE78HX 13VI being at the event, but looking at the showcase it’s presenting, it would make sense that MSI will take advantage of the opportunity.
