All is set in Las Vegas for the start of CES 2023, the largest technology and consumer electronics trade show on the annual calendar, which will be held this year from 5 to 8 January and with the desired return to general physical presence as the first stimulus. As every year, you will have extensive coverage at MC, which we have already started with previous announcements and which you can see in this special tag.

CES is organized by the American consumer technology corporation, Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and takes place at various locations in the city of Las Vegas, including the Convention Center and the World Trade Center as the main ones. Among all, it offers a huge electronic exhibition space, but also conferences, workshops or special activities for segments that want to make their mark at these big fairs.

The CTA expects to regain much of the huge numbers achieved in the years before the COVID pandemic and more than 3100 exhibitors, 173 countries represented and 4,700 registered media that will bring information about what is happening there to the whole world. There is no data available on potential participants. The 180,000 professionals of 2020 will not be reached, but the big fair is on the mend.

What do we expect from CES 2023?

In addition to the relative “return to normality” that physical presence implies and the conference program that includes dozens of sessions, the strength of the event will continue to be presentation and exhibition of a technological product with a large number of categories (classic and new), from computers to wearables, going through the latest in artificial intelligence and robotics; audio and video; networks and 5G; 3D printing; smart homes; wireless devices and services; virtual/augmented reality technology or the automotive section that focuses on technological advancements

CES 2023 is renewing a large number of manufacturers for this matter, and to begin with we must highlight the main conferences Intel (the main claim is the yet-to-be-released Raptor Lake processors), as well as AMD with the new Ryzen 7000. NVIDIA will also offer a keynote to showcase the rest of the RTX 4000 series dedicated graphics.

Taking advantage of this development, we will see a lot of new personal computers (especially laptops) from the giants of the PC sector: Lenovo, HP, Dell, ASUS, Acer and MSI as the main one, although announcements of others such as GIGABYTE, Razer or Samsung are planned. CES is also usually the presentation event of the next generation of displays, and we’ll see TVs LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL, Philips and more, as well as monitors from AOC, iiyama, LG, Samsung and all manufacturers.

There will be no shortage of novelties in wearables; gaming accessories, peripherals and furniture; audio and video products; sewing; virtual and augmented reality; news in home automation and smart homes; robotics and drones, and while it’s not a preferred sector at CES because it’s followed by MWC, we’ll also see some mobile phones and tablets.
