Agriculture and Forestry Minister Vahit Kirişci stated that the TarımCebmde mobile application is revolutionary for digitization and that he can access “earring research” and “support calendar” through the application.

ANKARA (IGFA) – Agriculture and Forestry Minister Vahit Kirişci attended the promotion meeting of the mobile application developed by the ministry and offered to farmers.

Minister Kirişci emphasized that digitalization is essential for food security and product planning and recalled that some work and transactions related to the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) can also be done through e-government, and with this integration, farmers have 2 million 824 thousand 44 ÇKS- documents announced.

Minister Kirişci pointed out that their work on digitization is continuing in a planned manner and said: “Agriculture 1.0 is a completely domestic and national application. The mind and sweat put into the implementation of the application from day one to the present belongs entirely to the staff of our ministry. No special budget was created for the implementation and the internal resources of our ministry were mobilized. From January 1, when the TarımCebmde 1.0 mobile application is downloaded and opened on a mobile device of all mobile markets, the home page will be accessible without registration process.

Sharing the knowledge that the application will be continuously improved, Kirişci explained that user feedback will be taken into account in this context.

Agriculture and Forestry Minister Kirişci stressed that in the new versions of the application, product proposals will be made to farmers on a parcel basis, taking into account the climate, soil and water constraints, adding that services related to production activities such as beekeeping, aquaculture and silkworm farming will be added.

After the presentation, Minister Kirişci and two farmers conducted several transactions through the TarımCebmde application. At the end of the program, Minister Kirişci took a souvenir photo with the staff who contributed to the launch of the mobile application and left the area.
