As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by Forbes Ukraine.
The companies, which are on the list of the top fifty companies according to DOU, have opened more than 30 new overseas offices since February 24. This is partly a response to the mass exodus of experts abroad. Poland, Germany and Romania are the largest new concentration centers of Ukrainian Haitians.
As noted, according to the calculations of the Lviv IT Cluster, in the spring of 2022 up to 57,000 specialists left Ukraine. However, there is a risk that up to half of the industry will decide to emigrate after the borders open.
The publication also notes that on the eve of the war, IT exports exceeded $ 6 billion, but in the 10 months of 2022, the Ukrainian IT industry exported half a billion more services than in the same period of the previous year. Forbes noted that adaptability is a fundamental attribute of all Ukrainian wartime work.
As Ukrinform reported, Olena Zelenska opened Europe’s largest technology conference, Web Summit 2022, in Lisbon on November 2, during which she called on IT professionals from all over the world to help Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said at the Web Summit that in 2022, computer services exports increased by 23% compared to the previous year; Ukrainian IT companies attracted $350 million investment; even under war conditions, more than 80% of companies fulfilled almost 100% of their contracts.
