According to the information disclosed, the models have the same features, the difference is that the SC9 is a longer soundbar, while the SE6 is a device designed for small spaces.

Several companies are making announcements during CES 2023 showing what’s coming in the technology segment. SC9 and SE6 automatically integrate with new LG OLED TVs. The Wowcast tool provides a wireless connection without the use of cables if the Smart TV is one of the compatible OLED models.

Devices bring the tool Wow Orchestra, which uses all the audio channels of the TV and soundbar to create a more expansive sound. The SC9 and SE6 also support Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced.

Three-level spatial sound

LG’s new soundbars feature Triple Sound technology, featuring the world’s first triple speaker. The 3-layer surround sound technology uses channel analysis performed by an HRTF-based 3D engine to add a virtual middle layer. Among the main features of the technology we have:

  • LG Triple Sound Optimizer: A feature that intelligently boosts the performance of new soundbars;
  • Smart Up-mixer: converts 2-channel audio into impressive multi-channel audio;
  • AI Room Calibration: Adapts audio output to the user’s space by fine-tuning and analyzing room conditions, and then applying that information to soundbar settings for greater accuracy in the low frequency range. It also subdivides the front channels to help improve overall balance, clarity of vocal performances, film dialogue, and image fidelity;
  • AI Sound Pro: Analyzes the audio signal and automatically applies the most suitable settings.

at the moment LG has yet to announce pricing for the SC9 and SE6.in addition to not being told when the devices will be available on the market.
