Denizli Metropolitan Municipality became one of the pioneer municipalities to adopt the e-Municipal Information System, which aims to provide faster and more convenient local government services.

DENIZLI (IGFA) – With the new year, the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has switched to the e-Municipal Information System, which brings together the municipalities in Turkey in a common database, enabling them to conduct all business and transaction processes electronically with standard software and provide local services to citizens in digital environment. The system, which provides municipal services to citizens faster, easier, more effectively and of higher quality, is managed time and space independent while saving resources and staff, as well as reducing paperwork and bureaucracy.

The city has completed its educational work.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, which completed the data transfer processes with the training studies it initiated for the transition to the e-municipal information system, where direct data exchange between public institutions and local governments is possible, by simplifying the service processes for citizens, became the first metropolitan municipality that applies the system on a large scale. The e-municipal information system, one of the largest projects in Turkey, will also reduce dependence on foreign countries in terms of information technology.

With an e-petition you no longer have to go to the municipality

The system, which can be accessed through the e-municipality page of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, will also bring great convenience to citizens. Electronic signature citizens can start their transactions instantly by submitting an e-petition without having to come to the municipality, in the system where many transactions can be made, from Article 18 announcements to roads closed to traffic, from requesting registration information to electronic document verification.

Faster, easier, more effective and quality service

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan stated that they attach great importance to technological infrastructure and that the Metropolitan Municipality is also a pioneer in innovations. Noting that they continue to contribute to a more convenient and comfortable life of citizens by implementing dozens of smart city applications from transportation to energy, from health to infrastructure, along with the traffic management system they first developed locally and nationally in Turkey, Mayor Zolan said that local government services are faster, easier and more effective and ensured that these would be delivered in a quality manner. Mayor Zolan, noting that the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality implemented by the Interior Ministry is the first metropolitan municipality in Turkey to widely use the system, thanked everyone who contributed.
