The development team is actively working to make Diya work as fully as possible. But here Ukraine is faced with the legal bureaucracy of EU countries, which unfortunately slows down innovation.

Diya’s work abroad

I would like to say that we are working hard to make Diya fully operational abroad, but there are a few quirks. Of course, there are many situations where people use Diya abroad: crossing the border, applying for payments and benefits, etc. It actually works, but the legal way is a bit more complicated,

If we talk about the countries of the European Union, then the EU needs Ukraine to legally recognize and start implementing digital documents. It is necessary to define what digital documents are.. This process is bureaucratic and long, and accordingly, everything does not progress as fast as one would like.

• But, for example, we have a pretty strong dialogue with Moldova. It is currently working on legislative changes that will allow the acceptance of Ukrainian digital documents.
• The development of the digital wallet issue continues in the European Union and we agree with it.
• Even in Canada there are instances where we get immediate feedback from people that they are using Ukrainian digital documents.
