LG launched two new ones OLED monitors for playing games from their UltraGear series at 240Hz, a 26.5-inch model named 27GR95QE-B and a 44.5-inch 45GR95QE-B. The former will start shipping from January 16th at least in the United States, while distribution of the latter is expected to begin on the 5th.

LG’s two new UltraGear monitors aren’t exactly cheap, with US prices starting at $999 for the 26.5-inch model and $1,699.99 for the 44.5-inch model. It is not necessary to point out at this point that the reference prices for the North American country are without taxes, which, together with other factors, will increase the amounts in euros when officially arriving in the Eurozone and therefore in Spain.

monitor 26.5-inch, 27GR95QE-Bit supports a native resolution of 1440p and an aspect ratio of 16:9 along with HDR10, coverage of 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum and a minimum response time of 0.03 milliseconds.

On the other hand, the model 44.5-inch, 45GR95QE-Bit’s curved, supports HDR10, 178-degree viewing angle from all angles, 800R curvature, 0.1 millisecond response time, 98.5% DCI-P3 color space support, and a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels with a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Both LG UltraGear models have two HDMI 2.1 connections, DisplayPort 1.4, two USB ports, 3.5mm headphone output and DTS HP:X support, FreeSync and G-Sync compatible support, and a constant contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1.

The 45GR95QE-B and 27GR95QE-B monitors are refreshes of the 45GR95QE and 27GR95QE products we published at the time. Both are peripherals that should offer a good experience playing games thanks to the use of OLED technology and basically share the same characteristics.
