OUR Samsung invests in the professional monitor segment in 2023 with a model Samsung Viewfinity S9. The purpose of the display is to offer creative audiences such as designers and photographers a new option with high image quality, Resolution 5K and high color accuracyto compete with models already available on the market, such as models from an Apple and LG.

OUR Viewfinity S9 equipped with an IPS screen with a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels on a 27-inch screen that covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The monitor even has a matte finish that reduces glare and light reflections. The model also has a built-in color calibration and Delta E <= 2, which promises to ensure the accuracy of displayed colors.

The design of the model is close to what can be found on the Apple Studio Display, with a gray metal finish.

OUR Samsung Vivefinity S9 connectivity options such as HDMI, display port, Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C to transfer large files of video and high-resolution images and is capable of charging laptops at speeds up to 96 watts. The new monitor even comes with a camera 4K SlimFit integrated into the system for video calls and built-in support for applications such as Google Meet in the Samsung Smart Hub.

The model is equipped OS Tizen TV, an operating system for Samsung TVs that includes various applications and services that can be accessed directly on the monitor. As for the release Samsung Vivefinity S9, the company limited itself to saying that it will be released at the “beginning of the year”, without specifying when exactly. The price was also not listed by the brand, but it is expected to cost less than $1599 regular glass version of the Apple Studio Display.

Samsung may talk in detail about this and other company products during CES 2023which runs from 4 to 7 January.
