One example shows how ChatGPT writes a script in Python that can act as ransomware when refined. With the help of such software, attackers can encrypt data on the victim’s computer.
Check Point Research researchers tried to use ChatGPT for experimental purposes, as a result of which the neural network generated a “convincing phishing email” in which the potential victim was informed that the account was blocked. The user is then prompted to open an attachment that contains an embedded VBA macro, also created by artificial intelligence.
