The presentation of the Galaxy S23 is just around the corner. This new data adds to the long list of leaks we’ve seen in recent months, which have generally allowed us to discover virtually all the keys to what’s new about the South Korean giant.

In general, it can be stated that the Galaxy S23 will bring minor changes compared to the current generation, but how will it place the said terminal if we do direct comparison with the Galaxy S22? However, keep in mind that although all the information we will see is reliable and many of them are confirmed anecdotally, there is always the possibility of minor changes.

Galaxy S22 vs. Galaxy S23: Same design, albeit with nuances

Design is one of the fronts that has undergone the least change in recent years within the Galaxy S family, although in fairness we must say that Samsung was not the only one to opt for continuity approach, as other major companies in the industry followed the same path.

With the Galaxy S23, we will see the same strategy as with previous generations, i.e. significant continuity, although with an important nuance. The Galaxy S23 will retain the same front we saw on the Galaxy S22, retaining the full screen finish with the camera integrated into the floating island. In the rear, we will also see a configuration of three cameras with a vertical arrangement, but they will no longer be mounted on a separate island from the chassis, but will come integrated into it in a cleaner way.

The Galaxy S23 is expected to keep the 6.1-inch screen of the Galaxy S22, so we won’t see any changes in its size, nor in the line of the terminal or in its ergonomics. This new chip will offer significant performance boosts on both the CPU and GPU levels, although we don’t expect major changes in terms of RAM or storage. By this I mean that the Galaxy S23 will be configured in its basic version 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage capacity, the same numbers that the Galaxy S22 manages. What will happen to the battery remains to be seen, but the latest information points to a slight increase in its capacity, which would rise from the Galaxy S22’s 3,700 mAh to 3900 mAh in Samsung’s new flagship terminal.

As for the cameras, we can be sure that the Galaxy S23 will have “notable” improvements compared to the Galaxy S22, at least according to the latest information that is emerging. Many of these improvements will be possible thanks to the adjustments that Samsung makes in image processingand will not be subjected to fundamental changes at the hardware level. Galaxy S23 price: more expensive than Galaxy S22?
