“In another unpredictable year, the business has overcome significant headwinds and has shown great resilience to record record sales for the third time in a row,” said Bentley CEO Adrian Hallmark.
In total, according to the 2022 results, the company sold 15,174 luxury cars, which is 4% more than in 2021.
Bentley also reported sales growth in all regional markets outside of China due to the local coronavirus situation. Meanwhile, in North and South America, Bentley’s largest market, sales rose only modestly, below 1%. Starting at around $180,000, the Bentayga luxury SUV remains Bentley’s best-selling model in 2022, accounting for 42% of vehicle sales, he said.
As reported by Ukrinform, British luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce Motor Cars exceeded the annual sales volume of more than 6,000 cars for the first time in its 118-year history.
