Apple Maps has partnered with SpotHero, a digital parking reservation platform, to launch a new feature that gives users choices and shows the availability of parking spaces near their destination.
This was reported by TechCrunch, Ukrinform reports.
For now, only Apple Maps users in the US and Canada will be able to retrieve parking information at more than 8,000 destinations.
iPhone and Mac users will be redirected to the SpotHero website after setting a destination in the Apple Maps app. The parking platform claims that users can book nearby parking and places using secure payment options.
SpotHero also allows users to filter their searches by date and time, as well as EV-charged parking spaces, wheelchair accessibility, and more.
As reported, the Apple Maps app has a feature that allows users to report road accidents, hazards and speed checks.
