Argentine architecture studio Focaccia Prieto showed images of a giant city of the future on the water, created with the help of the Midjourney neural network.

According to the architects’ plan, people will live on floating rings on which everything necessary for life will be placed. Each such ring can accommodate up to 4,000 residents. Both residential and industrial buildings and recreation and entertainment areas will be built on them. Plastic waste from the Great Pacific Landfill is planned to be used to build the city called Polymerpolis.

Electricity for the city of the future will be generated with the help of the tides, and a special water filtration system will help protect the ocean and its ecosystem. It is not yet known how much time and financial investment it may take to create Polymerpolis.
