Banco BMG has arrived in Samsung Pay. The financial institution announced that nearly all of its credit and debit cards can now be registered with the Samsung payment platform, allowing customers to make approximate payments using only their mobile phones at any POS that is compatible with the technology.

According to Banco BMG, in addition to payroll products, digital account cards, football teams, and partner retail stores can be registered. The exception so far is credit and debit cards for legal entities that still do not work with the Samsung platform. The financial institution did not say when the novelty will cover PJ cards.

Also according to the bank, this is the first partnership with such a platform, but there is interest in expanding the agreements to include BMG in Apple Pay and Google Pay.

How Samsung Pay works

To use Samsung Pay, you must have a contactless compatible mobile phone or watch. Although this is a Samsung payment wallet, it also works on devices from other manufacturers. Just search for the app on Google Play.

With the Samsung Pay app installed and your card registered, simply touch your device to the payment machine to confirm your purchase. You can verify your identity using your own mobile phone biometrics.
