China plans to launch more than 60 space launches in 2023, setting a new record in cosmonaut history.

This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to Xinhua.

In particular, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation will conduct more than 50 space launches. Other companies, including China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, will organize more than 10 more launches.

The Changzheng-2E (CZ-2F or Long March-2F) and Changzheng-7 (CZ-7 or Long March-7) launch vehicles will be used to deliver astronauts and cargo to the Chinese space station.

This year, the Changzheng-6B (CZ-6C or Long March-6C) RN will make its maiden flight – a modification of the three-stage Changzheng-6 with oxygen-kerosene liquid rocket engines. According to the report, “Changzhen-6” is the only domestic launch vehicle running on environmentally friendly fuel.

The Lijian-1 igrek2 (ZK-1 Y2) RN will debut in the first half of this year. On July 27, 2022, China’s most powerful solid-fuel launch vehicle, Lijian-1, launched six satellites into their designated orbits.

As noted, this year, China will continue to develop the Chanye-7 and Tianwen-2 probes as part of its Moon and Mars exploration projects.

According to the plan, as part of the Chanye-6 lunar exploration mission, samples of lunar soil will be sent to Earth in 2025 from the far side of our planet’s natural satellite. Another lunar probe, Chanye-7, is planned to be launched, whose purpose is to search for water at the south pole of the Moon.
