Game creators from Russia will receive money for work done despite previous sanctions. To do this, Valve has sent specific instructions to the developers.

What Valve offers

To continue receiving payments, developers must provide information from a foreign intermediary bank. Steam is also unable to pay into accounts of banks subject to Western sanctions.

• Developers will be able to receive the outstanding money in April if they provide additional payment information before April 24.
• Otherwise, the next payment will be made in late May 2022.
• Developers must specify the SWIFT code, name, country, location and address of the foreign intermediary bank.
• Payments are now restored to Steamworks and Steam Workshops.
• Developers from Belarus did not receive such letters, but it seems like it’s only a matter of time.
